Tuapse oil spill response ramped up after drone strike

Russia has increased the oil spill response team in Tuapse to 360 personnel and over 60 pieces of equipment following a Ukrainian UAV attack on the refinery. The strike caused storage tanks to catch fire, leading to an oil spill that is now being addressed. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov accused Ukraine of causing resource shortages on global markets and provoking destabilization through such attacks. The Tuapse refinery has been a repeated target of Ukrainian drone strikes in recent weeks.
