Journalist beaten by minister's supporters in Jharkhand

A journalist was allegedly assaulted by supporters of Jharkhand Congress health minister Irfan Ansari after questioning him about compensation for a victim of a February air ambulance crash. The journalist is receiving treatment at Sadar Hospital, and no arrests have been made. The crash, which occurred on February 23, 2026, killed all seven people on board.
