Complex attack on Kati Garrison by JNIM/FLA

Militants from JNIM and the Azawad Liberation Front (FLA) launched a complex attack on Mali's Kati Garrison, using a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (SVBIED) followed by coordinated small-arms and RPG fire. Widespread mortar shelling damage was observed at the base. The attackers used military uniforms for deception during the high-intensity urban combat. A high-value target named Camara was killed, and major close air support (CAS) was employed during a 24-hour sweep operation.
