Israel reviews Panormitis grain case

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Kyiv is preparing sanctions against individuals and entities involved in transporting and profiting from grain allegedly looted by Russia from occupied Ukrainian territories. He specifically warned Israel, stating that buying stolen grain is a crime and that Israel cannot claim ignorance of what enters its ports. The warning follows the arrival of the Panormitis grain shipment in Haifa, which Ukraine says originated from Russian-occupied areas. The EU is also considering sanctions against Israeli citizens involved in facilitating such shipments.
