Kyiv attacker kills 6, wounds 14

A gunman opened fire on civilians in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district, killing six people and wounding at least 15, including a child, before storming a supermarket and taking hostages. The shooter was killed by Ukrainian special forces after a standoff. President Zelensky has now confirmed the attacker killed six people, including one hostage, and wounded at least 14 others, among them a 12-year-old boy. He added that the gunman set his apartment on fire before the attack and that investigators are examining his devices and contacts.
