A 49-year-old volunteer, Yusuf Abbasov from the Korochansky District, has died in the war in Ukraine. His death was announced by the administration of the Sheinsky rural settlement, and according to the outlet 'Pepel', he was killed on September 6, 2024. He is the 1306th soldier from the Belgorod Region confirmed killed, part of a total of 2,672 documented deaths of residents from the region in Ukraine and border territories. The report notes that throughout the four-year war, one Belgorod resident has died on average every 14 hours.
