Africa Corps details Bamako airport defense

Russia's Africa Corps has released a more comprehensive video showing its units repelling a militant attack on an advanced post at Modibo Keita International Airport in Mali's capital, Bamako. The footage details the armored group involved, including BMP-3s, BTR-82As, and several armored vehicles, with air support provided by a Mi-24P helicopter. Unlike the remote northern city of Kidal, which was recently lost, this defensive position at the capital's airport was successfully held, and the attacking militants were unable to break through. The battle is part of a wider, coordinated offensive by an alliance of al Qaeda-linked and Tuareg separatist militants across Mali.
