Thailand says China has 70 ships stuck in Hormuz

Thailand's Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow has revealed his country sought China's assistance to secure passage for eight Thai ships through the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz. In response, Chinese officials informed Bangkok that they are themselves struggling to free approximately 70 Chinese-flagged vessels currently blocked or detained in the strait.
