Iran drafts bill to ban Israeli ships from Hormuz

Iran's parliament is drafting a new bill concerning the strategic Strait of Hormuz, introducing several major policy changes. It also mandates that all tolls for passage be paid exclusively in Iranian rials, with portions potentially allocated to the armed forces and public livelihoods. Furthermore, the bill includes provisions demanding reparations from countries deemed to have harmed Iran and grants full authority to the armed forces, including the IRGC, for security and environmental oversight of the waterway.
