Tehran governor reports massive fuel loss

The Governor of Tehran has announced that 70-80 million liters of fuel were lost this year during the destruction of storage tanks in the capital. However, he noted that overall fuel consumption in the city has decreased by 50% due to reduced travel and increased use of public transportation. As a result, not a single gas station in Tehran was forced to close. The statement highlights the significant material loss from the tank destruction while pointing to a major shift in civilian behavior amid the ongoing crisis.
