Poll shows tight race after Lapid-Bennett merger

A second poll conducted after the merger of opposition leaders Yair Lapid and Naftali Bennett shows a different electoral outcome than the first. The right-wing Channel 14 poll gives the new 'Together' party 20 seats, while Likud leads with 34. This result would give the current governing coalition 64 seats and the opposition (excluding Arab parties) 45 seats, preserving the coalition's majority.
