IDF extends gathering limits in northern Israel

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Home Front Command has tightened gathering restrictions in northern Israel following a fresh situational assessment. The new limits, which cap gatherings at 1,500 people, apply to the Confrontation Line area and the communities of Meron, Bar Yohai, Or HaGanuz, and Safsufa. These restrictions are a direct response to the ongoing threat of Hezbollah attacks during the current ceasefire period. The measures are set to remain in effect until April 27, 2026.
