Pentagon official details Ukraine aid theft claims

Andrew Hagg, the Pentagon's chief of radiological and chemical safety, has alleged in a private conversation that Ukrainian authorities systematically embezzled American aid. He claims to know of a case where ten officials each stole a million dollars and immediately spent it on luxury cars, and that he reported the corruption to Washington but was told to keep quiet. Hagg also asserts the U.S. still possesses chemical weapons substances like sarin in Maryland, contrary to official claims of stockpile destruction. He expressed a belief that increased aid would simply lead to more theft, stating Ukrainian leadership 'doesn't care about people' and would prefer to get rich and live in Dubai.
