President Donald Trump launched a direct attack on CBS's 60 Minutes and correspondent Norah O'Donnell after being read a quote from the manifesto of Cole Thomas Allen, the gunman in the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting. The manifesto, sent to relatives ten minutes before the attack, called Trump a 'pedophile and rapist' and stated it was Allen's 'duty' to attack members of the administration. In the interview, Trump said he had expected the question, called the journalists 'terrible people,' and vehemently denied the allegations, stating, 'I'm not a rapist. I didn't rape anybody... I'm not a pedophile.' He added that he had been 'completely exonerated' and told O'Donnell she should be 'ashamed' of herself.
