Magna founder Stronach guilty of sexual assault

A Canadian court has found 93-year-old billionaire Frank Stronach, founder of auto parts giant Magna International, guilty of two counts of sexual assault and harassment committed between 1977 and the early 2000s. The charges stemmed from allegations by multiple women who claimed they met Stronach at a restaurant and were then assaulted in his apartment. The court dismissed other accusations due to insufficient evidence after decades had passed. Sentencing is scheduled for September 17, 2026, and further accusations from six more women are set to be heard in May 2027.
