Spain to pay €2.5M to wrongfully imprisoned man

Spain's Supreme Court has ruled that a Moroccan man who spent 15 years in prison for rapes he did not commit is to receive €2.5 million ($2.87 million) in compensation. The man stated the Spanish justice system had ruined his life. The ruling represents one of the largest compensation awards for wrongful imprisonment in Spanish legal history.
