Iran warns US must stop Israel in Lebanon

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei reiterated that the first clause of the memorandum of understanding—'ending the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon'—is the most important pillar of the mutual commitments. He stated that while Iran has remained committed to its obligations, the other side (the US) was required to compel the Zionist regime to cease fire in Lebanon and has explicitly violated the agreement. Baghaei warned that this memorandum constitutes a 'single package,' and a violation of the first clause calls the entire agreement into question, threatening serious difficulties unless the other side takes immediate necessary measures.
