Trump unveils interim Air Force One from Qatar

President Donald Trump unveiled the new temporary Air Force One, a converted Qatari 747 designated VC-25B, at Joint Base Andrews on Friday. The jet, painted in red, white, dark blue, and gold, was gifted by Qatar and will serve as a 'bridge aircraft' until the Boeing-ordered presidential jets are delivered in 2028. Trump called it a 'flying White House' and touted its luxury interior. The plane replaces the aging VC-25A fleet while the long-term Air Force One replacement programme faces delays.
