India appointed FATF vice president

India has secured the vice-presidency of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the global anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing body. Union Culture Secretary Vivek Aggarwal was appointed to the position at the conclusion of the FATF plenary meeting held at its headquarters in Paris, according to an official statement.
