Iraq finalizes Ashura, Arbaeen transport plans

Iraq's Ministry of Transport has finalized operational plans to facilitate the movement of millions of pilgrims during the upcoming Ashura and Arbaeen religious observances. The plans focus on transportation to the holy cities of Karbala and Najaf, where large crowds are expected. Ashura commemorates the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, while Arbaeen occurs 40 days later and draws even larger numbers of Shia Muslim pilgrims.
