Canada fast-tracks AI immigration

Canada has unveiled a new fast-track immigration program for AI professionals under the Global Talent Stream, reducing LMIA processing times from months to weeks. The federal government aims to create 250,000 new AI jobs and generate a $200 billion economic boost over the next five years. Priority Express Entry processing will be given to machine learning engineers, data scientists, AI researchers, and tech specialists. Streamlined work permits through the enhanced Global Talent Stream will help companies hire international AI talent quickly.
