Mozambique police accused of spying on critics

Mozambique's National Criminal Investigation Service (Sernic) is under scrutiny for allegedly using spy networks to pursue government critics, more than 18 months after disputed elections sparked unrest. Civil society groups report abductions and killings by security forces, with Sernic accused of becoming a tool of political repression.
