Toronto police uncover gun-for-hire network

Toronto police have revealed that dozens of shootings, including one at the US consulate in March, are connected to a sophisticated gun-for-hire network operating in the city. Police Chief Myron Demkiw stated that young adults and teens are being recruited through encrypted messaging apps like Telegram, Signal, and WhatsApp to carry out attacks for payment. The network is also responsible for attacks on synagogues in the Toronto area. Shooters are required to film their attacks to receive payment.
