Turkey, Saudi Arabia sign railway MoU for Hejaz line revival

Turkey and Saudi Arabia have signed memoranda of understanding in transportation and railway fields, reviving the historic Hejaz Railway project. The original line, built between 1900 and 1908, connected Damascus to Medina and is now planned to be rebuilt in a modern form. The agreements mark a historic milestone in bilateral logistics and transport relations between the two countries.
