NIA re-arrests Kashmiri separatist Shabir Shah

India's National Investigation Agency (NIA) has re-arrested veteran Kashmiri separatist leader Shabir Shah. The arrest was made by the NIA's Srinagar branch on Friday in connection with a 1996 case involving a terrorist attack on policemen during a terrorist's funeral. A court has granted a three-day transit remand to the agency, allowing them to transport Shah for further legal proceedings related to the three-decade-old case.
