IDF advances north in S. Lebanon, demolishes towns

Israeli military forces have conducted new ground advances and demolition operations in southern Lebanon, despite the existence of a ceasefire. Troops advanced north of Tayr Harfa into Chama, north of Ramiyeh toward Salhaneh farms, and re-entered the centers of Bint Jbeil and Aynata, destroying remaining buildings with heavy shelling. Israeli forces also completed demolition operations in Tiri, engaged in combat with Hezbollah resistance pockets, and advanced north of Aitaroun to the outskirts of Nabi Youchaa. The operations indicate active hostilities are continuing on the ground, rendering the ceasefire effectively inoperative in these areas.
