Fighting intensifies around Kostiantynivka

Ukrainian forces report intense fighting across all key sectors around the city of Kostiantynivka over the past week. In the south, Ukrainian units have thinned Russian defenses and advanced deeper into the city from the directions of Ivanopillia and Berestok. In the east and northeast, sporadic Russian defenses have allowed for an advance toward the historic center, while some isolated Russian infantry units have been sealed in basements and targeted. The situation west of Chasiv Yar has been partially stabilized, with Ukrainian forces actively targeting enemy shelters in several settlements, though operations are heavily contested by a large number of Russian UAVs.
