China condemns EU sanctions on Chinese entities

China's commerce ministry has expressed "firm opposition" to the European Union's inclusion of Chinese entities in its 20th round of sanctions against Russia. The ministry demanded the immediate removal of the Chinese companies from the EU's sanctions list. The move marks a new point of friction between Beijing and Brussels over the bloc's efforts to enforce sanctions related to the war in Ukraine.
