Freedom Flotilla 2 sails for Gaza

The Freedom Flotilla Coalition has launched the 'Global Sumud Flotilla 2,' a civilian aid convoy of over 70 boats departing from multiple global ports toward the Gaza Strip. The flotilla includes approximately 3,000 participants, among them parliamentarians, activists, and a medical unit of nearly 1,000 healthcare workers bringing essential supplies. Its stated primary objective is to establish a continuous, non-military maritime corridor to deliver food, medicine, and construction materials directly to Gaza, bypassing existing military restrictions. The convoy is currently en route via the Mediterranean Sea, with staging points including Barcelona and the Tunisian coast.
