Pirates hijack oil vessel off Somalia

Pirates have hijacked the oil tanker Honour 25 approximately 30 nautical miles off Somalia's coast. The vessel was seized by six gunmen late Wednesday, who were later joined by additional armed men. The ship was carrying 18,500 barrels of oil and its 17 crew members are now held hostage. This incident marks a resurgence of piracy in the region, raising concerns for maritime security.
