Ukraine's An-28 drone-hunter launches interceptors

Ukraine is deploying a modified 1969 Antonov An-28 'Cash' turboprop as an airborne launch platform for interceptor drones designed to hunt Russian Shahed loitering munitions. The aircraft carries a combination of interceptor drones and a Minigun armament, representing the latest evolution of the rugged counter-drone platform. The system is operated by Ukrainian volunteer engineers and has been successfully used in combat to shoot down enemy drones.
