ISRO expands space surveillance network

India's space agency ISRO is expanding its space surveillance network with new facilities to monitor satellites and debris in low Earth orbit. The expansion includes a new tracking radar in Northeast India and an optical telescope in Ladakh, which will strengthen India's space situational awareness capabilities. These facilities are expected to improve tracking of objects in orbit and boost India's long-term orbital monitoring capability for space security.
