Iran's lead negotiator Qalibaf steps down

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf has stepped down from his role as head of Iran's negotiating team in talks with the United States. The resignation is attributed to internal disagreements within the Iranian leadership over the direction of the negotiations. Hardliner Saeed Jalili or current Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi are seen as possible replacements for the key position.
