Canada funds Ukraine cybersecurity through 2026

Canada has announced a new financial commitment to bolster Ukraine's cybersecurity defenses. The 92 million Ukrainian hryvnia (approximately $2.3 million USD) package will fund efforts through 2026. The funding is designated for protecting critical government infrastructure and, specifically, the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant. This support comes as Ukraine faces persistent cyber threats from Russian-linked actors targeting its energy and administrative networks.
