IDF accuses Hezbollah of using ambulances

The Israel Defense Forces have released new footage and intelligence accusing the Hezbollah militant group of systematically using medical facilities and ambulances for military purposes. The IDF states that during an incident this week in the Qantara area, troops from the Golani Brigade located an ambulance used to conceal weapons, including explosive devices, mortar shells, magazines, and a grenade. In another incident this month, troops of the 7th Armored Brigade killed an RPG-wielding Hezbollah operative near an ambulance, which was found to contain weapons used to establish a 'protected' attack position. The military asserts Hezbollah uses vehicles and medical teams affiliated with the Hezbollah-allied Amal movement as cover, thereby undermining the special protections granted to medical facilities under international law.
