US TRANSCOM uses AI for Epic Fury logistics

U.S. Transportation Command (TRANSCOM) is deploying AI-driven visualization tools and real-time data systems to manage complex logistics disruptions stemming from Operation Epic Fury and Iran's interference with shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. According to DefenseScoop, Gen. Randall Reed stated the command is using these "smart" systems to maintain global visibility and accelerate operational decisions. In response to the challenges, TRANSCOM is actively re-routing aircraft, diversifying fuel storage, and coordinating joint logistics across multiple combatant commands including CENTCOM, INDOPACOM, and EUCOM.
