Russia uses Lancet drone to destroy Ukrainian howitzer

Russian forces have released footage showing the destruction of a Ukrainian artillery piece using a ZALA 'Lancet' reconnaissance-strike drone. The strike, reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, targeted a camouflaged howitzer on the edge of a forest area in the Dnipropetrovsk direction, which was identified by a ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV. Operators noted the position was given away by tracks and other telltale signs of military equipment. The Russian military stated that identifying such camouflaged positions for counter-battery warfare is a primary task in the sector to support advancing assault groups.
