Ukraine security chief meets Indian officials

Ukraine's top security official, Rustem Umerov, held high-level talks with Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval during a visit to India. The discussions focused on strengthening strategic and diplomatic ties between India and Ukraine, as well as exploring pathways for a lasting peace in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. Umerov, a close aide to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, aimed to follow up on agreements from previous talks between Zelenskyy and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kyiv in 2024.
