Russian soldier from Belgorod killed in Ukraine

Private Egor Eliseev, a 27-year-old soldier from the Stary Oskol district in Russia's Belgorod region, has died in the war in Ukraine. According to the independent outlet 'Pepel', he was killed on August 9, 2024, and is the 1302nd military serviceman from the region confirmed dead. The organization notes that one Belgorod resident dies every 14 hours in the conflict, and they have compiled a total list of 2,645 regional residents killed in Ukraine and border territories since the war began.
