IDF kills 2 armed terrorists in Aainata

Since the ceasefire took effect in Lebanon last week, the Israel Defense Forces report continued operations in the new southern Lebanon security zone. The military states it has killed over 25 Hezbollah operatives who posed a threat to troops and destroyed hundreds of the group's sites, with the Air Force conducting some 50 airstrikes. The IDF adds that Hezbollah has carried out numerous attacks on Israeli forces stationed in southern Lebanon in recent days, to which Israel has not yet responded. The army says it will continue to act decisively against threats to Israeli citizens and troops, operating in accordance with political directives.
