Spanish BRIPAC loses VAMTAC in air-drop accident

During an airdrop training exercise, a Spanish Army VAMTAC tactical vehicle suffered a catastrophic rigging failure. The vehicle detached from its parachute and fell approximately 300 meters, resulting in its complete destruction. The incident occurred during a training operation by the Spanish elite airborne brigade BRIPAC, destroying a vehicle valued at around €600,000.
