Russia launches military satellites on Angara rocket

Russia's Defense Ministry announced the successful launch of an Angara-1.2 rocket from the Plesetsk cosmodrome on Thursday at 11:29 Moscow time. The rocket placed military satellites into their target orbits for the Russian Ministry of Defense. Ground assets of the Aerospace Forces Space Troops have taken control of the spacecraft, with stable telemetry communication established and onboard systems functioning normally.
