Russian border villages without power for 4 days

Five border hamlets in Russia's Volokonovsky District of the Belgorod region have been without electricity for four days, causing residents to discard spoiled food and struggle with basic hygiene. Local power engineers have twice postponed deadlines for restoring the power supply, and authorities have not officially acknowledged the outage. A resident who complained about the situation on Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov's social media page in a rude manner was warned and then blocked by the Operational Headquarters without receiving an answer about the power situation.
