Hezbollah rockets hit Israel after truce violations

Israel has continued demolition operations in occupied and disputed areas of southern Lebanon over the last four days, actions which violate the agreed ceasefire. During these operations, two Israeli soldiers were killed by explosive devices left behind by Hezbollah prior to its withdrawal. In response to the truce breach, Hezbollah launched a new wave of rockets at settlements in northern Israel on the afternoon of April 21. Israel has condemned the attack and warned of harsh reprisals, raising the risk of a renewed escalation.
