Druzhba pipeline resumes oil flow to Slovakia

The transit of Russian oil to Hungary and Slovakia via the Druzhba pipeline has resumed, with Belarusian state oil firm Belneftekhim confirming the operation. The pipeline is a critical energy artery for Central Europe, and its reopening follows repairs by Ukraine's pipeline operator after recent Russian strikes. Slovakia had previously threatened to block EU sanctions unless the pipeline was reopened, linking the energy supply to its political support.
