FSB detains man for spying for Ukraine in Belgorod

Russian security forces have detained a man in the Belgorod region on suspicion of high treason for working with Ukrainian special services. According to the FSB, the resident contacted an SBU representative via messenger and transmitted information on critical transport infrastructure for money. He allegedly installed a hidden video camera overlooking a road bridge and provided remote access to Ukrainian handlers. The agency also claims he surveilled the home of a defense enterprise employee on instructions from his contacts, and a criminal case has been opened against him. This follows a recent case where a Ukrainian native was sentenced to 21 years for filming Russian defensive structures in the same region.
