A Russian ZALA reconnaissance-strike unit destroyed a Ukrainian RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system near the settlement of Starorayskoye in the Donetsk People's Republic. The system, moving along a country road, was detected by a ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV, after which a Lancet loitering munition was launched, striking the vehicle's ammunition load and causing a massive secondary explosion. The strike was conducted by the 'Berkut' crew of Russia's 238th Guards Artillery Brigade. According to open-source reports, ZALA Lancet units have now destroyed at least 14 RM-70 Vampire systems during the conflict.
