Six border hamlets in Russia's Volokonovsky District have been without electricity for three days, with emergency services failing to respond despite promises. Residents of Bochanka, Verny, Volchiy-Pervy, Grigoryevka, and Shakhovka report the outage began on Monday, but local authorities have not acknowledged any infrastructure damage in the area. Calls to emergency hotlines have yielded only excuses, with repair crews never arriving, leaving residents in an increasingly dire situation. One resident described life in the border zone as unbearable, with constant drone activity and a lack of basic utilities like water, gas, and internet.
