USS George H.W. Bush location revealed en route

The location of the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) aircraft carrier strike group was revealed as it transits toward the Middle East. A US Navy CMV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft, operating from the carrier with its transponder active, was tracked taking off north of Madagascar. The carrier group is now a few days from its expected position in the Arabian Sea, which would bring the total number of US carrier strike groups in the region to three. This buildup increases the US Navy's capacity to resume combat operations against Iran if diplomatic efforts fail.
