Ukraine's debt payments deferred for 10 years

Ukraine's Ministry of Finance has announced that its creditors have agreed to defer state debt payments for 10 years. Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko signed a memorandum of understanding with the Group of Creditors of Ukraine, postponing payments until the end of February 2030. Repayment will begin later, between 2035 and 2039, in equal installments. This agreement provides Ukraine with significant financial relief amid its ongoing conflict with Russia.
